Absolut Vodka goes wild with new flavor of cocktail

DBR Staff Writer Published 27 January 2011

Absolut Vodka, a vodka brand owned by spirits and wine company Pernod Ricard USA, has launched new flavor of cocktail called Wild Tea.

Absolut Wild Tea features dark tones of Oolong Tea and Nordic white elderflower, red apples, and citrus.

The company said that Wild Tea could be tried with iced fresh lime juice and pure sugar and lemon-lime soda or ginger ale.

Absolut Wild Tea is said to be made with all natural ingredients, and no sugar added. It is now available nationwide in 1L at an SRP of $24.99 and 750ml at $19.99 SRP.

Pernod Ricard USA is the premium spirits and wine company in the U.S., and the largest subsidiary of Paris, France-based Pernod Ricard.

In July, 2008, Pernod Ricard completed the acquisition of the iconic Absolut Vodka brand from the V&S Group.

In addition to Absolut, Pernod Ricard USA's brands include spirits such as The Glenlivet Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Chivas Regal Scotch Whisky, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Seagram's Extra Dry Gin, Beefeater Gin, Plymouth Gin, Martell Cognac, Malibu, Kahlua Liqueur and Hiram Walker Liqueurs.
