Jawbox Spirits expands portfolio with two gin liqueurs

Jawbox Spirits has launched which it claims is a drinks industry first pineapple & ginger gin liqueur.

The company has also launched its rhubarb & ginger gin liqueur.

The Irish gin-maker, located in Belfast, has produced the liqueurs, where the grain for the spirit is grown and harvested.

Both the liqueurs are claimed to have been balanced with a good combination of sweet and spice, married with a balance of the distillery’s small batch gin.

The drink is described to be refreshing thanks to the pineapple and ginger combination, where the taste of fiery ginger finishes with the intense flavour of pineapple.

The liqueur has been priced at £25 for 70cl and has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 20%.

The second drink Rhubarb & Ginger combines the finest ginger spice is paired with the Victorian garden flavour of rhubarb and Jawbox Gin.

The new liqueur Jawbox Pineapple & Ginger comes from the docks of Belfast, which was home to the exotic imports during industrial era, where goods were produced and traded all over the world. Pairing of the fresh fruity flavour of pineapple with the warming spice of Ginger is considered to be an inspirational combination, the company stated.

Jawbox Small Batch Gin is triple-distilled slowly in traditional copper pot stills and in small batches using a combination of 11 selected botanicals including local Belfast Black Mountain Heather.
