Panache Beverages Alibi American Whiskey receives COLA approval

DBR Staff Writer Published 27 June 2012

Panache Beverages has received a Certificate of Label Approval (COLA) from Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) for its Alibi American Whiskey.

With the COLA received, the brand initially will be released in only four to six US states in August 2012.

Alibi will be distributed in New York and Florida and will be followed by other states, which will be confirmed in July 2012 when the company will also reveal its distribution partners for 2012.

With the purchase orders already exceeding 22,000 nine liter cases, the company is under pressure to meet the demands in 2012. However, the company feels that it will make nearly $2m from Alibi shipments in 2012 and deliver the rest in 2013.

The New York-based Panache is specialized in the development, global sales and marketing of spirits brands.

Panache's existing portfolio contains two brands - Wodka Vodka and Alchemia Infused Vodka.
