DBR Staff Writer Published 12 September 2011

VuQo Holdings, a producer and marketer of wines and spirits, has launched its VuQo Premium Vodka, which is said to be the first and only vodka distilled from coconut nectar, in New York on 10 September, 2011.

The Philippine-made vodka will be unveiled at PRESS Lounge. Recently, VuQo Premium Vodka was launched in CBS studios in Los Angeles, California.

VuQo CEO Rich Cabael said VuQo's official New York launch is an important milestone for the company, and it looks forward to building its brand in the city.

VuQo, which has 40% ABV, is said to be continuously distilled and filtered multiple times, and is packaged in 750ml bottle. Currently, VuQo is distributed in the US in California, Texas, and Georgia as well as Guam and the Philippines.

In addition to VuQo Premium Vodka, the company owns the brand Haliya Light Fruit Wines, which are handcrafted in small batches using fruits that thrive in the Philippines.
